Wedding in Positano – Amalfi Coast – Italy

On a hot day during a scorching summer, as we walked through Positano, we were able to share every minute of the days with David and Troskeh, from mooring at the marina the previous day to their breath-taking wedding. A fusion of cultures, with friends and guests from all over the world, and infectious happiness, but also endless emotion and delicacy in their gestures and their expressions.

The Amalfi Coast offers unequalled views, fragrances, and all the colours Italy is known for. The way of life is like no other. Moving from Villa Eva to Villa Cimbrone, two jewels in the coastline crown, took us past wonderful views, panoramas worthy of a film set, with no end of textures and settings for the couple session. Every nook is a new discovery, strolling hand-in-hand in these wonderful surroundings that cast an ethereal spell, and they conjure up all the emotion and tenderness of this moment. The coastline veiled by the dawn mists of June, seen from the Villa Cimbrone terrace is quite dazzling, truly exceptional.

It was such a real pleasure to work with this couple and with the talented photographer Elena Pavlova.

The ceremony was hosted on the lovely terrace along the coast, then the reception started, opening the door to entertaining Kurdish dances and to some moving speeches, which touched everyone and brought tears to the eyes of all the guests. The bride and groom were able to relive childhood moments through the stories of friends and family, remembering the past, their origins, and their journey together. I’m always pleasantly surprised and sincerely moved when it’s time for the speeches, which never fail to reveal compelling unique personal stories, and anecdotes and comments that probably wouldn’t ever be heard except at a wedding.

The celebrations continued after cutting the cake with magical light and shadow effects perfect for the first dancein front of the villa, another moment I love.

Then it’s time to open the dances.

Such an exciting time, bursting with creative ideas, and a real delight, with the sheer gratification of working with you and the whole team.
